Close Portrait of a Woman by Ilse Bing. 11 x 8 3/4 – inch matte toned gelatin silver print on heavy paper, with a strong “Paris 1933” stamp on the verso, and her small initials and date “IB/33” in pencil on the extreme upper right. There are rust stains from paper clips that once were clipped onto the print. The print has been matted to hide these stains, but I like it very much just as it is. [D3]
