The Sierra Club at Muir Pass

Muir Pass

Group at Muir Pass. 11″ x 14″ toned gelatin silver print.  A camera case can be seen on the ground in the lower right. This is most likely an early Sierra Club outing. No imprint, but “Doctor Kingman” is written in pencil on the verso. Some of the people should be able to be identified. Ansel Adams was involved with the Sierra Club in this period, but there is not indication that he had anything to do with this photograph. There is slight edge wear.
