11 x 14- inch Evercolor archival pigment print, signed in pencil on verso, dated ’94, edition 4/50. This was in a series of photographs Folberg made in the 1990’s for the Aperture Foundation, photographing synagogues from around the world. A book was published in 1997. I’ve placed this after the previous lot because this digital process has some affinity with the film-based 3-color carbon process, and though the subject is quite different, it makes an interesting comparison.
