RODEO WITH KKK, GOLDBECK PANORAMA. 10 x 52- inch gelatin silver print, 1924, printed by E. O. Goldbeck for the owner in 1981. This is the “Grand Entry – Fred Beebe’s Rodeo…. ” The Dallas Klan 66 Drum and Bugle Corps is seated in front, their banner next to the American flag in the center. The KKK was so entrenched in the civic life of the city that it seemed only appropriate for them to be so prominent in this popular event.
Signed in pen by Goldbeck on the print. Red stamp on verso.
