10 1/2 x 9 1/2- inch gelatin silver print, signed and dated 1946 on recto with title “Dan Weiner Photographing on Lower East Side, N.Y.”. Credit stamp on verso, with the following in pencil. “Dan Weiner–photographing, Lower East side, N.Y. City / Bill Witt [signed] 1947 or 49 / old print.”
Dan Weiner was also a member of the Photo League. Aside from its compositional interest, this is a rare instance of one photographer photographing another at work.
